After her husband served in the military for 10 years including three deployments during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jessie and her husband spent 17 years as missionaries in Guatemala. They have three children and have embraced the journey of adoption. Jessie is a cancer survivor. Jessie embraces coming face to face with God with honesty and vulnerability in the middle of our heartache, suffering, and confusion.

Jessie loves the outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains and canoeing. Things that bring a smile are Saturday morning pickleball, traveling, being with family and friends, good coffee, and lazy Saturday mornings. She is grateful to be living this incredible yet messy life with her husband of 26 years.
