Susan Howell

Susan is passionate about sitting with clients and witnessing the healing, freedom, and transformation that can unfold when God is welcomed into the process. Her core philosophy is simple yet powerful: Healing is absolutely possible!

Susan is a Licensed Social Worker, Spiritual Director, and Rapid Resolution Therapy Facilitator with more than 30 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate healing, growth, and life transitions. A graduate of Saint Mary’s College and Indiana University, she offers clinically informed, Christ-centered counseling rooted in the truth of God’s Word and guided by a neuroscience-informed, whole-person approach to healing — body & soul. Susan believes true healing begins with God and that Jesus is the ultimate healer of the soul.

Susan specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, women’s issues, boundaries, narcissistic abuse recovery, divorce, trauma, grief, addictions, ADHD, parenting, foster care and adoption, and relationship challenges.

Outside of counseling, Susan enjoys spending time with her 5 children and growing family, granddaughter, friends, dog, and six goats. She loves knitting, sewing, photography, and lifelong learning. She is currently combining her graphic design skills with her passion for education to create a project called Health Matters. Her favorite place to be is outdoors enjoying God’s creation, and a hidden fun fact: she studies the moon, orbital data, and anything NASA.
