Ryan Berg
Counselor
Ryan has extensive experience and training in a variety of counseling areas. He has a masters in Biblical Counseling, a Masters in Christian Counseling. Ryan is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with the International Board of Professional and Pastoral Couselors and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Ryan has AACC certification in Biblical Counseling, Addiction Recovery, and Marriage and Family Counseling. He is a certified SYMBIS Pre-Marital Counseling Facilitator, a certified Enneagram Coach, and he is a trained “Managing Leadership Anxiety” facilitator.
In addition to the above counseling areas of interest, Ryan also has extensive experience in helping people with Anxiety, Depression, Sexual Issues, family of origin issues, conflict resolution, organizational health, men’s issues, parenting, grief, spiritual issues, growth in self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
He has served as a counselor in the church setting for over 10 years, and he is currently the Assistant Pastor of Soul Care at College Park Church. He also is an owner and coach of “Brightwater Coaching” which does individual and couples Enneagram Coaching.
For enjoyment, Ryan spends his time reading, studying relational dynamics in groups (families, organizations, churches, etc…), tennis, Kentucky Basketball, being outdoors in non-crowded areas.
